Casablanca
Casablanca is a port city and commercial hub in western Morocco, facing the Atlantic Ocean. The city’s French colonial heritage is reflected in the Moorish architecture of the city center, which combines Moorish and European Art Deco styles. Partially built over the water, the immense Hassan II Mosque, completed in 1993, features a 210-meter-high minaret with lasers pointing toward Mecca.
