Fes

Fez is a city in northeastern Morocco that is often considered the country’s cultural capital. It is best known for the walled medina of Fez El Bali, with its medieval Marinid architecture, bustling souks and old-world atmosphere. The medina is home to religious schools such as the 14th-century Bou Inania and Al Attarine madrasas, both decorated with carved cedar panels and intricate mosaics.
